They're FINALLY finished...
...the wedding thank-you cards have been completed! :) The entire time we were planning our wedding, we always imagined a small guest list. After almost 50 thank-you cards...I'm warning those large guest list couples - be prepared to suffer writer's cramp! Of course, the evening wasn't complete until after I re-read the entire stack of "To the Bride & Groom" cards. Goosebumps starts immediately!
I've slowly started to change everything from Carrico to Davis - which, is taking longer than I hoped. How could the world NOT know that we've been married for 23 - TWENTY-THREE - days! Geez! The first place to make the immediate correction was the last place I thought about contacting...the post office. I've started to receive several packages, cards, (worse) bills as "Emily Davis" - and next to each of them was a giant "?" As in, "I'm reading the address - but the name is wrong." Actually, Mr. Postman - it's correct. I contacted the lovely lady at the office, and she made the correction, in her words, "immediately". Let's just hope they don't stop delivering everything else that still reads "Carrico"!
Now that I've looked back - I completely forgot to mention that our wedding pictures are "in"! Nicole & Dan did an ABSOLUTELY, AMAZING, PERFECT-O job! They are beyond what we expected. Each picture captures every detail, every ounce we hoped for. Of the 500+, I think I have well over 300 favorites! :) Here's just a few from Nicole's website...aren't they BEAUTIFUL! :)
