The Last Night

Tonight the entire bridal party, parents, Judge Barton, our flutists and grandparents met at Laurel Hall for our ceremony rehearsal. As quickly as possible we ran through the processional, walked through several important parts throughout the ceremony, the back down the aisle. A few tweaks were needed, but overall it went quite nicely. However, at this point - I fear we may have given Ryan far too many responsibilities!

After the ceremony rehearsal, we were off to Olive Garden for the Rehearsal Dinner. To see everyone around us, was perfect. Of course, Eric and I did try to say a few nice words - but I couldn't get through the first line without crying! Go figure. Eric did a fantastic job letting everyone know how thankful we were to have them there and how much the guys and girls standing next to us mean.

Betsy and Bob, thank you. Tonight was wonderful. To be surrounded by those we love, and who love us, was exactly what we dreamed. We love you!

Of course, now the crackdown begins. When I wake up in the morning - it will be our day. Right now I'm taking this moment to breathe, soak it all in. Everything we've done for the last year, will come together in the end - and if something falls through, we're okay - because we're together.

At this point - I have no clue whether I'll sleep tonight or not. I'm not nervous yet - just a mix between excitement and calm...which, unfortunately, I think is causing butterflies! :)
