DAYS Away!!

Over the last few days I feel that little has happened, when really alot has!

First of all, Monday afternoon I met Nicole (our photographer - she's more our friend now, than just our photographer!) for lunch to discuss the schedule set for Saturday and any "detailed" shots we were hoping for. After almost THREE hours (!!) later we settled out times and ideas. Granted only about a half hour was needed for actual wedding-day talk. Now I just need to write out a list of group shots we're wanting and we'll be set.

Last night I met with DJ Ryan and finished up the Reception Planner. DJ Ryan is such an awesome guy! He gets the flow of our reception and our ideas 100%. More importantly, he's just so down-to-earth. I'm very excited to have him (and his wife!) as part of our Big Day!

The programs have been printed and folded. The table numbers have been completed AND the place cards are in the printer as we speak (or...in this case, as I type). The arch has just a few minor tweaks to make and after that - it's done! :)

Tomorrow the guys pick up their tuxedos while myself and the girls are scheduled or nail appointments. I also am picking my dress up from being steamed and dropping my ring off to get cleaned.

On an even better note - family is starting to arrive! :) Earlier today Mamaw and Papaw arrived and we immediately put them to work...OK, I didn't - but Mom did! Later tonight MarMar and Kelly will arrive from Ohio, followed by Katie, Uncle Hal and Uncle Pat Thursday night - and the rest of the pack Friday/Saturday.

At this point - I'm definitely between two emotions. I feel like I want to scream and yell with excitement that we're only three short days away - but on the other hand, I just want to still and breathe every ounce of each day in. It's a strong mix between the two - and an amazing feeling nonetheless.

I still haven't had that "ah!" moment that it's hit - even though it appears to have hit my girls. For instance, this morning Amanda wrote, "Okay...it just hit me now, September 2nd at 7:09am...you're getting MARRIED in 3 days! Holy cow!!" Or the fact that Dana keeps talking about "giving away her best friend". I told myself I have to stop checking her Facebook status' - I'm already tearing up!

I can say this...I'm ready. If you told me, right now, to put on my dress and walk down the aisle - I'm in. I'm ready to marry my very best friend. :)

2 days, 7 hours, 11 minutes and 23 seconds
