Running out of time!!

Yesterday morning Mom, Dana and I took a trip to Laurel Hall to meet with Jamie from CRG. Our wedding is the first event for CRG at Laurel Hall (however, they have booked another wedding in November) - so having the opportunity to walk Jamie through the location was incredibly beneficial.

It should be mentioned that I maybe, kind of, sort of, well - yes...I overslept. So, at 8:20am (when we planned to meet at Laurel Hall at 9:00am!) I was rushing and running around trying to make it on time. I, of course, was late - which only set everyone's mood off on the wrong foot. Mom wasn't too happy with me - but I wasn't too happy with myself! I kept apologizing to Jamie, saying I wasn't like this normally - especially when it came to our wedding!

We walked through the final numbers, accounting for any "extras" that came up. We then took Jamie on a tour of the location - pointing out important parts of the mansion - specifically the kitchen, our chosen bar location, and the buffet room. (Yes, our buffet gets its own room. We're that cool.)

Every time I walk in the front doors, I get goosebumps about our Big Day. Laurel Hall is the place I dreamt about for years - breathtaking. It's crazy to think that in a little (a very little) over two weeks, we'll be married! Anytime I run into to someone I know, the first question they ask is, "So, are you ready?!" It hasn't hit met yet - that I'll be a wife - but if everything was put together and we were to get married tomorrow - I'm ready.

It's crazy to see car commercials, talking about the great deals they have that are only good until Labor Day weekend - or coupons that expire September 26th. Or the fact that my work calendar now shows I have lots of vacation days quickly approaching. It's crazy to hear radio commercials about concert tickets for events on September 5th. Amanda even pointed out, that by the time a certain sale ended - I'll be a "married, old hag!" (Yes, she used all three words.) And, even tonight when I called Kelly to check up on her - she answered it with "Hello Very Soon Bride-to-Be!" :)

But...with all of our excitement comes lots and lots of little work left to do. Now, if only I could figure out what my girls have planned on Sunday...

15 days, 2 hours, 30 minutes and 53 seconds

Don't be too enthused about what's being planned. We really are quite rubbish (yes, I used RUBBISH) at planning things - so just don't get your hopes up too high!! :)
