Problem?! What problem?!

For those who keep up with my Blog regularly - you're probably wondering why I had yet to talk about my hair trial. Well, I needed a little more time before I spilled the beans.

Saturday morning - Amanda, Dana and myself all headed for breakfast and then to the salon. Because we ate too fast, we swung over to the alterations shop and picked up Dana's dress. She looks amazing in it! (Have I told you how much I love my bridesmaid dresses?! I would own one myself if I didn't have an equally amazing dress...)

...either way, we then shot straight for Robert's Salon. Waited no time before the stylist came up front to grab us. I gave her my pictures, talked about what I wanted (and what I didn't) - and 23 minutes later she was done. Done, completely - in a blink of an eye my hair went from "bluh" to "WOW!". It looked beautiful and effortless - exactly what I wanted.

That was until I realized how much it was going to cost on the actual Big Day. And, to be completely honest - a hairstyle for the Queen of England isn't worth $85. Especially just a head full of curls and four bobbypins. I rubbed it off for a while, thinking to myself why on earth they'd charge $85 for hair only - and came up with nothing. After an unsuccessful chat with Nicole (who colors my hair - and whom I still love 100%!), I realized I needed to look elsewhere and fast for a new salon.

There are several salons here on the southside that have the same reputation as Robert's - therefore, I counted them out. I got recommendations from absolutely everyone - and called them all. I described in as much detail as possible how the chosen hairstyles looked, asked about group rates, almost any question I could think of. Each time, I got mixed answers...until finally the answer I was looking for.

Thanks to Transformations Salon & Spa, we have scheduled hair and makeup appointments set for the Big Day! And, even better - besides saving a load of money! - it won't put a dent in our pre- and post-hair/makeup plans.

I'm not sure what's more amazing - how I just spoke with Stephanie from Laurel Hall - describing how nothing had "gone wrong" and that I wasn't upset about anything, or the fact at how fast I found a solution! At this point, I feel like I can tackle anything! :)
