I thought, for a moment, I was going to have that "break down" feeling - but really, it's just excitement. The excitement to share everything with those whom we love the most. It seems like yesterday when we started planning - and the day before that, when Eric and I went on our first date. The memories Eric and I share can only get better.
I remember just a few years ago, we celebrated Mamaw & Papaw's 50th wedding anniversary. The look they had for each other that day, throughout their ups and downs, that's the look I'm waiting for. I feel so blessed to have found the one who makes me a better person. I'm ready to start our journey.
But, before that journey can begin - we've got just a couple items to finish up. Last night I finished the dinner room design and seating arrangements. Now I just need to find the table number holders and we're set. Tonight I have plans to print the name cards, table numbers and programs . I also completed the Timeline & Details sheet - with all of the extra add-ins.
Today, Mom, Dad and I are headed out for some last minute items for the arch. We'll then swing by our place to pick up anything wedding related. I've grown my own stash of items over the last few weeks and it's finally time to lay it out and pack it up for setup on Friday. I'm very excited to see Laurel Hall finally put together - with the Emily & Eric touch...that will probably the moment when it feels real. Until then...it's just one really cool party! :)
